Yay!!!! I Got Mail :) Sooo very special
So the other morning I sat at the table as the kids ate their breakfast before heading to their Spanish school. Sierra turns to me and says "Miss Sarah, your shirt and pants really don't match"!!! Laugh out Loud!!! I never really thought that I needed much fashion sense when I pick out my pajamas.
The kids are great story tellers...not always good when you are trying to solve a problem. But still can tell a good story besides that. So Sierra had an ear infection and was heading out with Rosa to get it checked out. I asked her how come her ear hurt. So apparently there was this bad dog that was on the porch (they don't have a dog) that came in and peed in her ear!!!!
It was not this dog in the picture! But this poor dog does fit into Sierra's clothes...so he gets several clothes changes a day. Also it never has the same name every time I ask.
Now Jonathan is the "WHY" kid. He will seriously say why to everything until...I turn blue...or until I say "Because I said so". Who would have thought I would start sounding like my mother!
While in the bathroom the other day I was washing my hands. He says "Why are you washing your hands?". I say "Because I just wiped your bum". Then he continued "Why".... :(
Michael and Sierra are definitely the mischievous ones..and a lot of times together. Trouble one and trouble two!!! Jonathan does too but not near as much as the other two.
Michael...humm! Well a lot of times you will either find him with something in his mouth that should not be there. Or he will have his hands in something. Very much a sensory kinda kid.
They are all unique & special and so very different from each other even though they are triplets!
Hey!!! It's true about what they say about twins...but I get it times 3...these kids seriously all have to go to the bathroom at the same time, all the time.
Rosa froze leaves in water...and they watched it melt. The kids had more fun eating the ice...don't worry they were not allowed to eat the leaves! But I am sure a couple bites most likely landed in Michael's stomach.
Jonathan found it too cold...and went and found a sock to put on his hand...pretty sure it was the sock he was wearing all morning!
Michael!!!! Do you really have to put your freezing wet hands on my legs!!! At least he thought it was funny :)
So last Saturday the Smiths had a friend come for supper. He was from England and had a neat accent. Rosa brought out some tea a little later on. Out of nowhere all the kids start shouting "TEA PARTY!!!!!". So that has been the thing this week. We have had two! Enjoyable...but rather a mess the second day...so much so that they were rather sticky from all the tea (orange juice). Can you say bath time!!! These picture are from the first time...it was a bit crazy the second time around!!
Jonathan decided that he wanted to thank God before we had our tea party. :)
Friday was Rosa's Birthday!!! Lots of excitement as she turned 54. We had fun making kabobs for her birthday supper. Pretty sure the kids ate more than they put on the sticks!!!
Time to Eat!!!
Black Forest Cake, Peppermint Chocolate chip ice cream....Then Presents!!!
Sierra...licking off her plate! :)
Happy Birthday Rosa!! Hope you had a lovely day :)
So this morning I was heading to church. I had just been picked up at the train station and we were on our way....when we had to pull over. There were seriously like 20 horses and a few mules coming down the narrow road...with people riding them of course. The majority of the people in traditional Spanish riding clothes. Those horses were absolutely beautiful!!! It is very common for people to be riding in town...but not usually this big of a group.
I had a really relaxing day...after church, a little nap outside ( +21 today) and a nice little visit with some friends.
