Churros con (with) Chocolate

I am grateful that this past week was not as eventful as the past couple. So glad that everyone is healthy and the bugs have not dared to enter my room again. Although I did see my first scorpion this morning at the pool. It was just a little guy but those things are dangerous!
The kids are doing so great at swimming..they are like little fish!! It's kinda cute now but it might not be once Jonathan gets older. But he burps so much when he swims. He must just suck in so much air before he puts his head under the water...that it just has to come out once he is up again. Ya...this kid can sure burp...I'm just glad he hasn't figured that out with soft drinks yet!!! :)

The kids found their old bibs that they don't use any more. They decided that they are much better uses as food holds/containers for snacks.

So one of Sierra's favorite books to read is Fancy Nancy by Jane O'Conner. Fancy Nancy loves to be elegant. So the other day Sierra was playing and twirling around in her dress and she says "Miss Sarah, I am elegant!!" I said "you absolutely are little girl". It is a big word for an almost 4year old!

Doing mommy's nails

Sierra is a little girly girl...Loves to get her hair done, nails done, and won't wear anything but dresses except her swim suit. She even needs to wear her tights to bed at night.

Washing his bike

Feeding the play set thing in front of her.

I went into Malaga on Saturday and went to a fabulous Churros place called Casa Aranda. It was been around for the past 75 years...and I can see why! By the way Churros and chocolate is a Spanish breakfast snack type thing. It's only my second time having it...and it was amazing!!!
Churros is kinda like a donut type thing...it's deep fried. The hot chocolate you dip it in is like a hot chocolate pudding.

Then my friend Karyn and I walked over to the Market there in Malaga called the Ataranzas Market. I don't remember all the history off the top of my head for both the churros place and the market...so I will leave that up to you to research if your curious!

Olives and more olives!!

Chicken.. in fat!
More fat! The guy selling this was very enthusiastic about his job. It was humorous...I guess you have to be when you are selling things in fat all day!

Octopus

Cheese!

Wasabi

Spanish bread (pan) is so good

Pig feet for supper anyone?? These people don't throw anything away!! Seriously... so I will spare you the details of other things that I seen for sale!

An amazing stain glass window on the one end.
