Then we went to have some ice cream!
It was funny to watch the waiter at the restaurant as he interacted with the kids. I feel somehow we made his day!! Ya we make a mess...But he was loving the interaction with the kids. And he had this giggle that was...memorable!!
The transition from nap time to quite time has been interesting!! They still need a little nap but are not tired at that time. But if they do nap than they won't go to bed at night. But also if they don't nap than they are saying that they are tired close to supper. So it is quit the thing!!!
Jonathan: "Miss Sarah?"
Me: "Yes Jonny!"
Jonathan: "Can I have some fresh water?"
Me: "Ok Jonny here is your water bottle"...I found it just sitting on the counter
Jonathan: Takes a sip..."Miss Sarah...this is not fresh!"
Me: "What do you mean it's not fresh?"
Jonathan: "You didn't take it out of the fridge!"
Me: "Buddy just drink it! It will take a long time to get cold in the fridge and it's a hot day and you need water!!"
So "Fresh" is the new word. When it comes to food...lately Jonathan has been asking for or making sure it's fresh!!! He may turn out to be a good cook in a few years!!
WHY!!!...is still a VERY popular word around here. And now I just give it back to them...and ask them why for everything!!!
Of all the triplets Michael is the most mischievous one. He has gotten into the habit of throwing things out windows, over balconies and just plain throwing things were ever. So after the last episode it was time to give some serious consequences. They were all getting ready to go swimming and they were all in David & Rosa's room and I was in my own getting ready. All I hear is...Sarah are you ready? I come out of my room at that second and said I was. I come to discover that Michael had thrown the lid of one of the board games out the window and had landed on the restaurant roof below us. Rosa had just about enough of that!!! Considering the fact that a day or two earlier he had thrown some earrings and important papers out the window...and NOW this boy needed to have some consequences. So even though we were all ready to go...Michael was not going (I stayed back with him). OOOo he did not like that one bit!!! But I hope that did the trick...at least for a while. There are plenty of other things to get into...and I know he will find them!! :)
I wish I had a video to show you how Sierra runs. She runs with such determination!!! It completely matches her personality. It's just cute to watch her run!
Today while sitting on the couch Jonathan and I were playing a little game. He would say "Capture your head" or ears, toes..etc. Then I would capture whatever it was...on him. He finally ran out of things to say...and then asked me "Is there anything else important to you!!" All I could do was laugh and laugh! I never did tell him...I had to tell Rosa what her son just said!!
Triplets first time on a horse/pony!!!
We went to a great place about a half hour from here. It is a place that rescues horses. They have about 45 horses right now. Some look in great health while others just got there recently and were very thin and you could see lots of ribs and bone. Very sad to see. But by watching the owners and seeing their love for these beautiful animals I know they are great hands!!
Here a few other pictures from the afternoon
